Joel was joined by Motherwell’s head of sports science Andy Boles to talk about football fitness, pre-season and returning to training after the football shutdown.
Andy details how he had to adapt to ensuring players had programmes for the football shutdown and what they have been doing to stay on top of their fitness. In addition, he explains what Motherwell’s first-team can expect when they return to training and the injury concerns which clubs will have.
There is talk about the GPS bras players wear, ‘match sharpness, and Andy’s Match Ready Fitness business which provides drills used by professional footballers for people of all ages and abilities.
