Interview: Marvin Bartley (part 2) – moving club, despised by Hearts fans, Scottish Cup win and difficulty of leaving Hibs

In the second part (of three) of Joel’s chat with Marvin Bartley the midfielder reveals what it is like to make a transfer move, controlling his own contract negotiations and also settling into a new city.

Bartley opens up on dealing with fan abuse and explains why he loves it, especially at Tynecastle. Reluctantly there is a chat about some Scottish Cup final that happened and the mindset Hibs and Bartley had that season and against Hearts.

He details the change which took place when Neil Lennon took over Alan Stubbs and watching the Dylan McGeouch, Scott Allan and John McGinn triumvirate. They finish part two by discussing the end of Bartley’s Hibs career and the difficulty he found in moving on.
