Montrose avoided becoming the first team to be relegated from the Scottish leagues through the pyramid play-offs as they overturned a 1-0 first leg deficit with a 3-1 win in the second leg.
In such instances any sort of winning goal will do for supporters. But it’s always nice when the goal that wins the league, a cup or secures survival is an absolute, top drawer stunner.
And Garry Wood’s effort certainly fits that description.
